Real Education’s 5 Principles
Below is a list of the principles we have chosen for Real Education; and it is our expectation that when you enrol on Crew and show up at the event that you operate from these principles

Respect
To respect someone is to honour their perspective without needing to agree with it.

Understanding
Seek to understand others through their lens. Walk a kilometre in their psychology before you judge them.

Acceptance
People do things differently. True acceptance is recognising those differences without needing to change or fix them.

Ownership
Take responsibility for your shadow behaviours. Declare them, clean them up, and commit to your own healing and change.

Self-Assessment Checklist
All Crew persons are encouraged to discern if their Personal Values are at least 50% in alignment with Real Education’s Corporate Values.

Commitment

Time Commitments
Once you express an interest to be considered to Crew on any event you are agreeing to be fully committed for the entire event, as outlined in your Crew Confirmation Letter.

There is an expectation for Crew to commit to crewing all our events, especially the one you aspire a certain level of change in, for minimum of a 2-year period to the best of your ability.

This is due to the intense nature of the events, the training involved, and the high level of Facilitation and Leadership that you are exposed to and encouraged to develop over a period of time. You will notice extraordinary changes within yourself when you choose to make this commitment to your own growth, and to

the development of others. It has been our experience, this 24-month total immersion has created the most profound results in people’s lives.

Making a commitment to volunteering your valuable time and precious energy is truly valued by Real Education and the participants when you are certain you can honour this commitment. It truly supports us if you have a strong commitment right up front and throughout the event so that we may give you the best opportunities for growth and roles. This also honours the enormous amount of volunteer time the Leadership Team put into facilitating these opportunities for all Crew.

Late Withdrawals from Crew
We understand—and hold deep empathy—for unforeseen circumstances that can arise. That said, last-minute withdrawals from Crew have a significant impact on the team and the Real Education office. It’s not just a small shift—it requires a full restructure of the team dynamic.

The Leadership Team and the Real Office invest considerable time and energy assigning roles, facilitation, tasks, and leadership responsibilities to best support the group and create individual opportunities for growth. Every Crew member is placed with care and intention.

When someone withdraws close to the event, it sets off a ripple effect. The volunteering Leadership Team must spend up to 48 hours reassigning roles and responsibilities. Crew members who had been preparing for specific roles must relearn processes and dialogue with little to no lead time. It affects task teams, demonstrations, pod leadership, and the production and distribution of documents and dialogue cards. It also pulls staff away from critical behind-the-scenes preparation.

Think of it like a football or netball team—every player matters. When one pulls out, the whole game plan is disrupted. The same happens here. Last-minute changes create stress, anxiousness, and uncertainty that can leak into the space—something we are committed to minimising for the sake of everyone’s growth and contribution.

This is why we have a clear deadline for Crew commitment—to ensure enough time for essential allocations and to honour the experience for all.

Receiving an email requesting an Expression of Interest to Crew does not automatically guarantee selection. Each Team requires quality deliberation and serious thought about the dynamics required and the combination of specific energies and skills. The Team at Real Education relies on your cooperation and graceful acceptance of the challenging decisions that are made each and every event.

Submission of “Crew Interest Form”
You must complete the Crew Interest Form by the RSVP close date.

Real Education cannot accept any other form of expression of interest ie: via email, phone or talking directly with any Crew person or Real Education employee.

Request to be Considered for Roles
If you are interested in a specific role, please include that in your Crew application. The Leadership Team will take your request into consideration when allocating positions.

Crew Acceptance
You will receive a Confirmation to Crew email after your submission has been received.

Real Education approve Crew:

  1. those who responded by the RSVP close date
  2. and may decline any RSVP’s received after the close date

Specific Needs
If you have any specific needs or requirements that weren’t included in your Crew Application, you must email the Real Education office directly at [email protected]. While you may also speak to the Leadership Team, this does not replace your responsibility to inform Real Education. The office must always remain your primary point of contact for all personal requirements or circumstances.

No Exception
Please do not rely on your personal relationship with anyone in the community to override any Crew policy’s and/or processes.

The Purpose of the Real Crew
The purpose of the Real Crew is to ‘do whatever it takes’ with humility and integrity to support the participants in experiencing transformation, and to inspire each other to elevate to a new level of excellence and leadership.

Real Education Ambassadors
The Real Crew are ambassadors for the Vision, Purpose, Mission and Values of Real Education – on the events and within the Community.

The most powerful way that Real Education commits to consistency and integrity is to inspire us all to work within the policy framework. This policy is regularly updated and decisions are made in the best interest of the whole Workshop environment.

Ongoing Growth
All Crew are to actively work towards completion of any unresolved personal issues. The Real Crew are to have a general commitment to continued growth in their emotional well-being. As a Team player, it is expected that you continue raising your self-awareness.

Up-Grading Real Events
With Real Educations’ commitment to provide cutting-edge events, upgrades occur at a phenomenal rate; so, we are current with humanities evolution. You will experience slight variations every time, in every event. And that is Real Educations philosophy and methodology.

Self-Challenges During the Event
Whilst on the team, you may be triggered due to the real-life situations at the event which may appear similar to your own. These occurrences may trigger your unresolved emotional issues and take you out of being in service in present time in the event. In order to continue contributing at a high level within the Real Crew it is essential that you continue with your own personal growth during the event as these triggers arise.

Ask yourself: ‘What quality of Wo/Man do I become when my wounds are triggered?’

Honest reflection on this can provide invaluable insights into your way of being and to get support, how you can grow from each situation and give you an even greater level of understanding of others. In this environment there is a high level of ownership and humility to climb through the awkwardness to find healing and resolution within yourself to create effective change.

Clarity of Exchange and Reciprocity
Participation on the Real Crew is strictly voluntary. We strongly recommend that you are clear about your reasons for choosing to be part of the team, and that your commitment to the event is well understood—by you, your partner, and your family.

The exchange for being on Crew is not financial. It is personal growth, profound experiences, and the honing of support, life, communication, and facilitation skills. You’ll receive training in specific processes and be offered opportunities for leadership.

If you are on a growth path, Real Education is the vehicle. You choose to Crew to fulfil your Contribution and your Purpose. While you can never give too much to Real Education, you can over-commit. It’s essential that you remain in healthy exchange.

If at any time you feel ‘out of exchange’ with your chosen obligation to Crew, you are expected to discuss this with your Crew Leader. There is no judgment in feeling out of exchange. However, there is an expectation that a noble Crew person will address this internally—not through gossip, backbiting, or collusion.
As a Crew member, you are seen as an ambassador of Real Education and a reflection of the transformation our events create. Your presence in the community carries influence. With this comes the expectation that you hold yourself to a high level of personal integrity. Once you are selected on a Team, your ‘nobility becomes your chosen obligation.

Acceptance of Acknowledgement -vs – Expectation of Recognition
It’s important to stay grounded in your personal reasons for choosing to Crew. Real Education offers the opportunity to accelerate your growth by contributing in service to others. That alone must be your ‘why.’
If you find yourself needing recognition—from other Team members, participants, the Leadership Team, or the Facilitator—it’s an invitation to pause and reflect. Are you feeling out of exchange? Is there an unmet need for validation that’s arising?

We encourage self-acknowledgement over external praise. Humble self-praise leads to self-esteem and real confidence. By recognising your own growth and effort, you build lasting self-belief—not momentary gratification.

You are here for the cause—not for a person.
You are not here to serve the Facilitator.
You are not here to serve Real Education.

You are here because you are aligned with the Vision, Purpose, and Mission—and because you choose to be in service to the participants.

Stay connected to your intention. Serve from a place of contribution. Lead with humility. And remember: when you don’t need acknowledgement, you become truly worthy of it.

Phycological and Emotional Preparation
Real events can have a profound impact—not only on participants and Crew—but also on the people close to you. The nature of this work is immersive, intense, and transformational. For that reason, it’s essential that you consciously prepare the space and time in your life to be fully present. This includes tending to unfinished conversations, clearing your calendar, and ensuring your family or partner understands your commitment during the event window.

Physical readiness is equally important. A fit and healthy body supports focus, stamina, and emotional resilience throughout the weekend. Being well rested, nourished, and energised allows you to remain grounded and in service to the participants’ stretching, expansion, and transformation. Your presence matters— and being physically prepared helps you honour that role with humility, grace, and strength.

It’s also common to be triggered before the event. Old wounds and traumas may surface. Emotions may rise. These are natural and often part of your growth. Real Education encourages you to seek support when needed and to make a conscious agreement with yourself: because while you are in service, you hold space for others first. You commit to process your own rising issues after the event if you are unable to resolve them easily during the event, rather than allowing them to interfere with the space; there is a point when there are times you create a contract with the unresolved issue and place in a holding pattern for a small time frame, fo9r the right time and place for healing, and that can generally be outside the close of the event space.

If support is needed during the event, please speak with your Crew Leader at a time when you’re not on task. You are not expected to suppress your experience—but you are expected to be self-aware, responsible, and to ask for help when necessary.

We are here to grow—and growth includes knowing when to reach out.
This level of self-preparation ensures that you show up at your highest standard, for yourself, the participants, the team, and the work.

Code of Ethics
With the honour of Crewing is the expectation that you hold yourself to the highest standards—personally, professionally, and within the community.

Online & Public Conduct
All forms of communication—social media, email, messaging, and public face-to-face conversations—are included in the Real Crew Code of Ethics.

Any life-taking behaviour, online or face-to-face, will be taken seriously.

Referencing Real Education, Real Man, Real Woman, or any aspect of the work in a derogatory or life-taking way is a direct breach.

Your stories of personal learning may be shared, but must never include names or identifying information of others.

What happens at the Mountain stays at the Mountain; and any issues that occur during the event is resolved up the Mountain.

Consequences may include temporary or permanent exclusion from Crew participation.

Gossip and Backbiting
Gossiping and backbiting whether during or after an event— is never acceptable. No one should be spoken about if they are not present to speak for themselves.

Personal Agendas
If you have a partner, friend, or relative participating in the event, it’s essential that your role as a Crew member remains clear and separate. Your focus must be on serving the entire event—not shadowing or prioritising your loved one’s experience.

Your relationship with that person must remain outside the space. If you find it difficult to stay present with the team or feel emotionally pulled toward the participant, you are required to speak with your Crew Leader. They will support you in staying grounded, neutral, and in service.

You must disclose to the Leadership Team on day 1 if someone close to you is attending the event. It is also your responsibility to inform your loved one—before they enrol—that you will be on Crew, and not participating alongside them.

Your presence on Crew must come from your own commitment to growth, contribution, and alignment with Real Education’s vision and values. This is not a role for proximity—it’s a role for service.

Once the event concludes, any post-event interaction with your loved one must return to your natural relationship dynamic—not to the role you held on Crew. You are not their facilitator, coach, or debriefer. Their integration process is sacred and must unfold without your interference or analysis.

It is your job to return to being their partner, sibling, or friend—not their guide. Trust their journey. Make space for your connection to re-set without interference.

After the event, avoid processing your family or acting as a ‘walking flip chart’ or self-appointed Guru.

Subsentences
The Real Education Crew environment is strictly drug- and alcohol-free from the moment Crew begins until the conclusion of the event. This includes arrival at registration and all times during the event. You agree to remain free from, and not be under the influence of, any alcohol, drugs, or mind-altering substances—with the exception of prescribed medication—for the duration of the Activity.
The only exception to this policy is a few celebratory alcoholic drinks shared responsibly with fellow Crew members at the official Closing Event party, after the event has concluded.

Advice
When supporting a participant or Graduate, share from your own experience to empower their decision-making. Use supportive language and never give advice or tell others what to do.

Offering advice outside professional Codes of Conduct may carry personal, professional, or legal consequences—especially if it influences someone during a critical life moment.

Spiritual Wisdom – Keep it Global
When delivering wisdom during the event or within the Community outside of the event, you must be mindful of keeping your wisdom global and non-specific. It is important that you have your own personal beliefs but you also allow others’ their own beliefs.

Business Prospecting
The enrolment of participants by the Crew into businesses and/or investment opportunities is not acceptable in this environment. This is to ensure that no abuse of authority, or ‘perceived authority’ occurs, and to ensure the confidentiality of the participants – the participants are here for their personal growth, not unsolicited networking. It is important for the event not to be perceived as networking nor as a network for enrolling people into private’ businesses, or your personal counselling/coaching/workshops/retreats. Participants are especially vulnerable to prospective marketing. This includes those on Crew who are Coaching graduates or Counsellors – you are required to advise any participant who wants coaching or counselling to contact the Real office.

You are not permitted to solicit any Real Education Participant/Grad or Crew person. This includes corresponding via text, email, through social media or social media application to either support in promoting their business or inviting to attend any Non-Endorsed Real event.

Real Education and other Businesses
Real Education supports the growth, maintenance and evolution of other businesses in the Personal Growth/Health industry. Real Education does not however, endorse or permit the promotion or marketing of other businesses at any of our events, or any other event organised by Real Education.

Further, Real Education does not endorse or permit the promotion or marketing of other businesses to any Real Education Graduate or Prospective Graduate; in any form at any time regardless if a conversation is being had after the event in personal or social settings, nor via text, email, social media, private messaging or social media “Event Invitation”.

This is not limited too Real Education, Murray Masarik, Denise Masarik and Real Education Program Facebook pages, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and any other social media platforms; as these platforms are also deemed to be considered part of Real Education’s database.

Non-endorsed Real Events
Unless a specific Real event is advertised by and run by the office it is not a Real event.

There are events which start informally and innocently but can become an ‘infringement’ and be to the detriment of the Real events and participants. Replicating any games or processes from any Real event outside of event space at social functions – even with the best of intentions – is an infringement of Confidentiality Agreements, that as Crew person we have all agreed to. Recreating games and processes without approval and experienced Crew support is a potentially dangerous ‘good idea’ and is not endorsed by Real Education.

Replicating any games, processes or use of any other Real Education Intellectual Property in your own events is a breach of this Agreement, regardless of the person’s intent or mental state at the time of promoting or conducting the Non-Endorsed Real Events is considered strict liability breach.

Implied Endorsement
Please do not use R.E.A.L or any reference to Real Education events in any documentation used for your business, outside of our Coach Program resource documents provided to you during the course of you attending the Real Coach Program.

The use of our logo or name can be misconstrued as implied endorsement of products of businesses, even though the situation may be unknown to Real Education.

Real Education is not liable for any business decision, financial decisions that you make pertaining to your own business.

Relationships Relating

Primary Relationships Couples Crewing together
Both Crew persons are selected on the basis that each are invited as individuals.
Partners crewing on the same event together are selected for their individual attributes and unique qualities they bring to the Team.

As, those who are Crewing on the same event with their partner are on the Team as individuals, couple time is therefore not part of your reason for being on the Team. Excessive nurturing or caressing that clearly shows a sexual energy maybe misinterpreted by the participants, and is not encouraged. Nor is ignoring each other.

The development of functional and supportive relationships is strongly encouraged. We support the evolution of primary relationships that are clear, clean, honest, truthful, and integral in true intimacy and love. Being on the Team together is a great honour for your relationship and for you both as individuals.

If one partner has an emotional reaction the other partner is expected to stay present, connected with the team, not lose themselves; but allow their partner to cycle through their own personal issue whilst maintaining their sovereignty throughout the process or they will be asked to remove themself from the space for a timeframe, to resolve any issues before returning to the space.

Crew Relationship Dynamic in Deliberation or Crisis
During an event no Crew person is to interfere with, pursue or engage in any romantic or sexual activity with any other Crew person who is already in a relationship.
No Crew person is permitted to pursue or influence their agenda onto any other Crew person who is in a relationship deliberation or crisis. It is acknowledged that a person is vulnerable at this time. Each Crew person must be given the opportunity to resolve their relationship complications without distractions so the couple are able to fully decide the extent and direction of their relationship.

All Crew are to honour their Relationship Agreements and are entitled to the privacy of that agreement.

Single Crew Persons Pursuing Single Crew Persons
No Crew person is to pursue or engage in any romantic or sexual activity with any other Crew on the event.
Boundaries
All Crew must have very clear emotional and physical boundaries, especially when in the extremely vulnerable space of the event and after the specific event. Both Crew person when recognising a dynamic between themselves, they are clear they have sovereign boundaries; and a genuine “yes” must come from full, informed consent, and each Crew person is responsible for the consequences of that agreement.

A boundary is clearly marked by a “no,” which must be respected without question.

A “maybe” means it is in the “not know”—and no action is to be taken until clarity is reached and consent is able to be fully qualified. Each Crew person must honour the other Crew persons boundaries at all times.

Seminar & Programs

Timeframes
The levels for those on Workshops Crew apply to both Seminar and Programs; and the timeframes before engaging consent are outlined below in the Workshop section apply to Seminar and Program Crew. Where a Crew person only crews on a Seminar or Program, and therefore do not have a crew level – they are considered Trainees.

Boundaries
Before engaging in any arrangement with another Crew person, all Seminars and Program Crew must seek support from the Leadership Team, coaches, or counsellors to ensure that both Crew persons decisions are made from a place of sovereignty and clarity.

Workshop

Timeframes
As a result of having completed Real 1 and Real 2, you have done the training and learnt the understanding of consent and boundaries.

Real Education deems the following to be a reasonable time frames before any single Crew person can freely pursue or engage in any romantic or sexual activity with another single Crew person – where the most experienced Crew persons is a:-

Trainee – 4 weeks from the last day of the event both Crew persons first meet and crewed together;
Understudy – 8 weeks from the last day of the event both Crew persons first meet and crewed together;

Member or higher – 12 weeks from the last day of the event both Crew persons first meet and crewed together;

Perusing a relationship with a Participant
This clause applies where the participant is not previously known to the Crew person before the event.

No Crew person is to pursue or engage in any romantic or sexual activity with any participants – either during the course of the event or within SIX MONTHS of the participant completing his/her first event where the Crew person and Participant are on the same event together.

As the Crew are held in high regard by participants, you must take ownership of this personal power and take a high level of integral responsibility for what you say, how you say it, how your energy impacts others, and your way of being. You are a role model in the community.

Participants hold the Crew in high esteem.

Mis-use of your skills is a violation of and predatory act towards the participant and will not be tolerated. Every Crew person must exercise clear and clean boundaries with participants during, and after the event.

If a participant advances you for a romantic connection, you must exercise healthy boundaries that you are unavailable. It is a requirement that even if an attraction exists with a participant that the Crew person must not pursue the participant.

As Crew it is assumed that you are more aware than the participant and you therefore have the most responsibility to enforce this Criteria, and it is expected you will compassionately (not shamefully) refuse the participants advances. All Crew must have very clear emotional and physical boundaries, especially when in the extremely vulnerable space at the event and after the specific event.

Confidentiality
As part of Crew, you are trusted with access to deeply personal experiences and Real Education’s protected event content. Maintaining a high level of confidentiality is a non-negotiable requirement. You will witness vulnerable, raw, and often life-changing moments—through words, emotion, body language, movement, and one-on-one interactions. This includes participants and fellow Crew.
You have a serious responsibility to honour, protect, and never exploit what unfolds in the space. Breach of confidentiality—whether through conversation, social media, or replication of material—undermines the safety of the work and will be taken seriously.

What Counts as Confidential
Confidential information includes:

  • All Real Education materials, including but not limited too; Dialogue Cards, Participant, Primary Facilitator and Leadership Team Manuals, Task Team Sheets (including Run Sheets), Music methodology and systems (including Spotify playlist), Course Content and Contact Lists
  • Internal communications, planning documents, CRM including participant personal data

  • All topics arising from inner child, trauma, wounds, conditioning, Archetypes, father and/or mother complex, sexuality, tantra, spirituality, attachment bonds, masculinity and femininity, shamanic healing, your Life’s calling and direction being discussed for coaching, processing, facilitation, and/or education

  • Notes, summaries, reflections, or copies made by Crew

What is seen, heard, or felt inside the event environment must stay in the event environment. Nothing is to be shared outside that context—ever. The only exception is sharing your own breakthroughs or reflections, and only if you do not name or identify others involved.

Handling & Using Confidential Information
You agree to:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality before, during, and after the event
  • Use confidential material only for the purpose of participating as Crew
  • Never record, replicate, share, or distribute Real Education content or private interactions

  • Not share any information with anyone outside Real Education. Where another Crew person is directly involved and it’s necessary for the event, Real Education must still give consent for distribution

  • Prevent misuse, leaks, copying, or unsanctioned use of any Real content or information, not limited to information during the event

  • Immediately report any suspected or actual breach to the Real team

Confidentiality applies at all times, with two exceptions only; when the information is already publicly available and it was not made public through a breach of this agreement; or when you are legally required to disclose something by law or court order.

Misuse of Confidential Information
Misusing confidential information—whether through distortion, exaggeration, selective omission, or the use of tone and timing to influence perception—is a breach of trust. This can happen intentionally or unconsciously, and includes sharing in ways that paint others in a particular light, without the full truth.

When information is used to shift perception, discredit someone, or gain personal advantage—even subtly—it crosses a line. This includes using confidential material to appear insightful, shift blame, gain approval, or create a false sense of significance. This kind of behaviour may offer the illusion of status or control, but it is out of integrity. It’s unethical. It risks the emotional safety of participants and Crew, and can cause lasting harm to individuals and the space as a whole.

Post-Event Boundaries
After the event concludes:

  • Ongoing communication with participants or fellow Crew is permitted only if it is encouraging and supportive in nature; such communication can involve debriefing or referring to specific processes through self-disclosure and deep reflections on the lessons learnt

  • You must not use anything learned inside the room to assume authority, or direct others post-event

Creating a safe, clean environment doesn’t stop at the event’s close. Confidentiality protects everyone’s transformation—during and after the experience.

Return of Materials
Real Education may ask for any documents, manuals, recordings, or content back at any time. You must comply immediately and keep no copies or screenshots. You do not own this material—it remains the property of Real Education.

These obligations continue even after you return all materials or conclude your role as Crew.

Real’s Intellectual Property
Real Education’s content has been developed over decades. It is protected by copyright, design law, and IP rights. You may not:

  • Copy, adapt, teach, recreate, or modify our material for your own use

  • Share Real Education material, frameworks, exercises, or games in other events or coaching

  • Use any part of our methods—whether directly or “inspired by”—without written permission

Doing so is a breach of integrity, a violation of legal protections, and may result in immediate legal consequences.

Nothing in this agreement gives you any ownership over Real Education’s materials or intellectual property including any training in “Dot Processes”.

Security & Breach
You’re responsible for keeping all information and material secure—physically and digitally. If anything is lost, copied, mishandled, or leaked (by you or someone else), you must notify Real Education immediately and help address the breach.

Consequences of Breach
Breaching confidentiality or misusing Real’s intellectual property may result in:

  • Immediate removal from your current Crew role

  • Exclusion from future Crew opportunities or leadership pathways

  • Revocation of graduate privileges

  • Legal action, including injunctions, financial claims, or other remedies under law

Real may take legal action without prior notice, where necessary to protect participant and/or Crew safety, Real Education’s intellectual property, or the integrity of the space.

You may be held personally liable for any harm caused to participants, fellow or Real Education through your actions.

Legal Standing
These responsibilities:

  • Remain in place permanently, regardless of how much time has passed

  • Are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia

  • Will be handled under the jurisdiction of Queensland courts, if legal enforcement is required

  • Cannot be changed or waived without written approval from Real Education

  • Cannot be assigned or transferred to another person
Real Education is not required to disclose any further confidential or proprietary information beyond what is necessary for your role on Crew.
